About us
As one of the original online flag retailers, 1-800 Flags has been in business to provide the best service and selection of flags to fit our customer's needs since day one. 1-800 Flags and The Map Shop, was located on the picturesque Erie Canal in Rochester, New York for over 30 years. As of 2020, 1-800 Flags has moved our retail location to online and local pick - up only.
We are also never out of flags of the world or the United States because we are part of a network of flag importers strategically located around the country.
Zeke Little
Zeke Little, the original owner, had a 35 year background in vexillology (the study of flags). Our two main markets: churches and schools have relied on Zeke's expertise over the years. His willingness to share his knowledge has helped many customers determine the right solution to fit their needs and has ensured their expectations were met and in many cases exceeded.
After 30 years and thousands of flags later Zeke has retired (he's ready to explore the world some more). Working together with Zeke, our new owner Amber has kept the same level of care and customer satisfaction while continue to grow in new industries and markets.
Amber hopes to continue to sell a little bit of history and pride through each flag sale, while being able to give back to her home town of Rochester, New York.
